CORONATION Street fans were left shocked as two residents had a furious showdown.
Viewers tuned into the long-running ITV soap on Friday as Daisy and Ryan’s exposed affair made waves on the cobbles.
Daniel had been playing the long game after discovering a video Ryan had made confessing his feelings for the feisty brunette.
Coronation Street fans watched as it appeared Daniel was about to give Daisy another chance, but she couldn’t bring herself to say she didn’t love Ryan.
In later scenes, both men came face-to-face in the Bistro as Ryan was with girlfriend Crystal.
Daniel asked the bartender: “Hey what’s the plan, are you going to dump this one then now that you’ve got a clean run at Daisy?”
As things got heated Debbie Webster stepped in and said: “Right boys just step back, mind and bodies just let it go.”
DJ Crystal was completely in the dark and demanded to know what was happening.
But as Ryan left with her things spilled out onto the cobbles as Daniel shoved him before punching him in the face.
Ryan retaliated and threw the teacher to the ground before hitting him back.
Debbie and Leanne were forced to break up the brawl.
Walking away, Daniel could be heard screaming: “She’s all yours. All yours.”
Corrie viewers flooded social media with reactions to the fight as one said: “Daniel is supposed to be a teacher and he’s fighting in the street. What a muppet!”
A second posted: “Daniel deserved that – he’s a p***k.”
A third penned: “Daniel and Ryan just like Ken and Mike back in the day.”
While a fourth commented: “Debbie is an icon. Queen of Weatherfield.”
