Cell, famous for his portrayal of Matthew Williams (James Nesbitt’s character’s son) in the Cold Feet reboot, sported a gnarly black eye.

As he posed for photos before watching the play, his left eye looked bruised and bloody.

It’s unclear how Cell got injured, and he hasn’t given any updates to his fans on social media.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Cell still showed up in style, confidently posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet.

The star donned a fashionable ensemble, sporting a cool cap, crisp white shirt, and a sleek grey bomber jacket.

Cel also sported loose-fitting denim pants in a dark blue shade, with cuffed ends that added to his relaxed style.

He completed his look with a pair of brown, Timberland boots.

Cel began his acting career as a child with a recurring role as Tom Lewis in the ITV cop drama Blue Murder in 2003.

He went on to star in BBC Two mockumentary The Cup, and appeared in two series of the BBC One school drama Waterloo Road.

When the much-loved comedy drama Cold Feet returned to our screens in 2016, Cel was cast as Matthew, the son of James Nesbitt’s character Adam.

As a presenter he appeared on BAFTA-award winning CBBC show Friday Download for the first eight seasons, and has hosted the CBBC Official Chart Show since 2015.

The 21-year-old appeared in Vogue magazine’s list of The 50 Fittest Boys for 2016, which described has having “the gift of the gab while also bringing a certain air of a young Mr Johnny Depp to proceedings”.

It’s unknown how he got injured – and he hasn’t updated fans on social media yet
