Having first met as castmates in a Jack And The Beanstalk panto last year, the hitmaker explained how it was only until after the production ended that they got together.
He said: “It just sort of naturally happened. We got on very, very well – and we were only friends on the show.
“It wasn’t until after the show that we kind of realised that we missed being in each other’s company.
“And so we had our first date after the show, two months after probably. And yeah, the rest is history.”
When asked whether marriage or children could be on the cards, he joked: “It’s sort of too early days to be thinking about anything like that.
“We’re just enjoying each other and it’s actually going very well.
“She’s a great girl. We have a lot in common. She’s in musical theatre, about to go out with the tour Hairspray all around the UK, and so she’s looking forward to that.
“I’ve done lots of theatre as well. We get on very, very well. Let’s see what the future holds.”
But it’s not just Allana with an exciting job lined up.
Gareth’s gearing up to hit the road too, fronting an all-star cast of West End performers as they pay tribute to The Jersey Boys, backed by a full swing live band.
The electrifying vocal homage to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will include the likes of Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry, My Eyes Adored You and December 63.
Sharing his excitement to be stepping into their shoes, he said: “It’s a concert that we want people up at the end, singing along, dancing, having a great night out.
“My parents always used to listen to them so it’s been drummed into me as a child.
“And then I’ve done a few shows in the past, which has been based around the music, so to produce my own version of the show is great.”
Kicking off on 29th September, the tour will travel to Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Aberdeen, as well as many more UK cities.
